I have had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout my career, working with trend forecasters, designers, and manufacturers in locations as diverse as the United States, Italy, India, France and China. Fabric development, with focuses in aesthetics and technology, is an integral part of my experience. Whether I’m working with a scientist or a yarn spinner, I am comfortable.
The breadth of my experiences - from driving $500 million in retail volume for one of the largest retail companies in the world to launching a new business - has rewarded me with a vast amount of insight into customer research, product development, and how to bring a design vision to completion, either in garment form or in an illustration. Variety and diversity remain a constant inspiration, along with my research in trends, color, materials, silhouette and technology - all serving to bring the best product to my customers.
